in order to make full proof of our ministry - we must trust

Proverbs 3:5-6 

"My Foundation"

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  

Christians—those who follow Jesus—are called “believers,” but many times we are more like unbelieving believers. We trust our friends, family, finances, our own ideas more than we trust God and His Word.

Why is it important to trust God?

When we accept Jesus, we give up doing things our way and trust that He is going to work things out for our ultimate good. The moment may not always feel good, it may not even look like there’s a way for it to work out, but when we surrender our wants, fears and concerns to Him, it demonstrates our complete trust in Him and He never lets us down! In fact, many times the Bible links the idea of trust with faith. 

But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Faith is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead. 

As we make full proof of our ministry we must trust God and in our trust, for him, we shall receive a reward which is our crown of eternal life. 

Once we have trust and faith then we understand Grace.  Grace is that spiritual component that gives us a heart of compassion and a forgiving spirit.

Divine grace is a theological term present in many religions. It has been defined as the divine influence which operates in humans to regenerate and sanctify, to inspire virtuous impulses, and to impart strength to endure trial and resist temptation; and as an individual virtue or excellence of divine origin.
